Description
The Board establishes the Amity Pueblo MOA Compliance Task Force. The Amity Pueblo MOA Compliance Task Force will monitor mitigation activities conducted under the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AGFD), and other parties regarding the mitigation of adverse effects to Amity Pueblo (AZ Q:15:74[ASM]) near Eager, Apache County, Arizona, to which the Society for American Archaeology is a signatory. The Task Force will monitor the mitigation activities actually conducted under the Amity MOA for their compliance with the mitigations agreed upon under the MOA. Any significant departure of the actual mitigation activities executed from those agreed upon will be reported to the Board of Directors of SAA, who will alert other consulting parties to our perception of such a departure from agreed-upon procedures. The Task Force will consist of at least three members, including a chair or co-chairs.
